‘Sometimes it is the journey that teaches you a lot about your destinations’. Something like this happened to me, when I started my journey with iView Labs. iView has made me believe that even a layman like me can sail into the deep world of coding and technology. My experience was as similar as a sapling growing under the shadow of enormous trees. Every day is new for me as each day I have a new challenge in front of me. Learning about the future technologies makes me leap into the future. Being a newcomer in the industry I got to know so many new things about the technologies that I have never heard of. Things like Augmented reality, multi touch applications have always drawn my curiosity, but iView turned my imaginations into reality by giving me this wonderful opportunity to work on the finest of the technologies.

As the roads that leads to beautiful destinations are never easy, my journey is a bit challenging, where each day I struggle to explore and learn new technologies but nevertheless at the end of the day I have a good sleep making me feel content of the work done for the day. At initial stages, it was difficult but now I have learned to overcome challenges on my journey and find optimal solutions to conquer the situations better.My journey would have never been so flawless without the due support of the “TECHNICAL GEEKS” here. The atmosphere here is so inspiring that each day I leave home with a positive feeling of reaching closer to my goal.

“A team becomes more powerful when it is led by a skillful midfielder”. The best part here is the open mindedness and the freedom that you get to put forward your own views. The Leaders here believe in making creators and not followers.

I feel very proud to be an intrinsic part of this team “iView Crafters”, where we craft technology. It has made me believe that even a small fish can sail in the big ocean.

NDDB Adopts Augmented Reality For Content Delivery

Business Challenge

NDDB, a leading co-operative organization is on a mission to enhance milk production in India. NDDB’s team were exploring innovative ways to increase dairy farming education. They were looking for solutions to educate dairy farmers about professional dairy farming. To make dairy farming sustainable and viable, it needs to have right propagation and education. For sustainable development, youth needs to be educated about dairy farming concepts. NDDB’s team sought various mediums of content delivery but none gave them the required benefit and a direct reach to the farmer.

NDDB’s team visited iView’s office and we brainstormed about innovative ways for reaching out to farmers with the dairy farming methods and techniques. After a lot of discussion and brainstorming over a coffee, we came up with a solution of mobile content delivery with augmented reality.

We did a proof of concept (POC) to test the Augmented Reality content delivery platform. We invited few farmers to NDDB center and tested the app with them.We got very interesting responses from farmers. Some were surprised and for some it was just “MAGIC”. This experience completely validated our POC and it helped us to understand the need more clearly. This entire journey made us realize that “When digital innovation creates MAGIC, it touches lives”.

About Indinox

One of the largest stainless steel expos in the world, was held in the grand city of Ahmedabad in early 2015. Organized and held together by the core, the Indian Stainless Steel Development Organization (ISDO), Indinox serves as a common platform for a discussion on the overall progress and the future of the stainless steel industry. With over thousands of exhibitors, Indinox 2015 had a vision to open innumerable opportunities for global stainless steel manufacturers, businessmen and consumers to grow and expand through B2B global investment opportunities and innovatory business development.

The Challenge

Considering the enormity of the four day event itself, it was important for Indinox to realize its vision and make it a success. Although, the number of participants was large, unfortunately it lacked a central database system for tracking and record keeping, and all of their communications were scattered/unorganized. All the transactions were being carried out using traditional manual methods, with no IT backbone at all. This led to ineffective methods of information management; increased the scope of human error and overall presented a very ineffective system of conducting a large scale event.

The iView Automation

ISDO saw a technical ally in iView Labs. Considering the time, budget constraints and the development of a completely new way of functioning, our solution was simple and cost effective. Automation of the entire system right from the user end to enable better communication between vendors and clients- all using an online platform. Our in-depth analysis with the key members of the organization, increased surveys and a technical solution check from our internal IT team led us to creating a lean system and a reduced infrastructure costs.

The Solution

Our end product was a smooth website which was intelligent, interactive, dynamic and highly responsive. Its mass appeal and intuitive interface let exhibitors register online, book their stalls immediately, check status of their profiles and even get accommodation details in the city of Ahmedabad via effective integration of Google Maps. All of this was achieved by the creation of a central database which operated on the laws of cloud computing.

Its significant features:

  • Registration and application for sponsorship.
  • Registration of visitors.
  • A statistical interface which showcased graphs & analytics indicating real time capacity, vacancy and number of visitors.
  • Engaging and interactive information via creative info graphics about the event and its mission/objectives.
  • Extended media coverage through publish of news, articles, speeches and even event videos that showcased the daily proceedings.

With our sophisticated solution, the footfall of INDINOX 2015 increased dramatically.
